Lewis King | Age:18 | Condition: Alice in Wonderland Syndrome | FC: Darren Criss | OPEN
The infamous tale of falling down a rabbit hole sounds like paradise to most, yet Lewis since he was a toddler has dealt with a syndrome that brought the fantastical elements from Alice’s world to reality. He has grown to not trust his perception. Luckily he has a good humor, thus the plague hasn’t ruined him. Lewis is the type to shroud his pain in comedy. He was also an incredibly lonely person since no one saw the world quite like him. There is a lot of resentment inside of him. He perpetually questions why is wasn’t given the choice whether or not he wanted to plummet down this metaphorical rabbit hole. When objects’ sizes randomly flux, armies of color suddenly descend on scenes, and everything at any time can become personified, Lewis grew accustomed to surprises. When he was little he was quite skittish, now though he has grown a bit numb. His family supported him till is adolescents when his syndrome got exponentially more severe. It got to the point where a new attack enveloped Lewis every five minutes. School and socializing became impossibilities. One night while scouring the Internet for answers his mother stumbled upon Brookhaven’s page. Seeing the school as a safe haven for her son she immediately enrolled him. Lewis is descending into yet another rabbit hole. Hopefully he won’t lose his head!
